Terri Long has been named Vice President of Clinical Risk Management. Terri joined Halifax Health in 1995 as a bedside nurse in the Intensive Surgical Care. She then worked as an Infection Prevention Nurse, and for the last 14 years, she has been a vital part of the Clinical Risk Management Team. Terri has the great responsibility of Halifax Health’s regulatory compliance with Agency for Health Care Administration and CMS standards, reviews by the Department of Children and Families reviews, occurrence report investigations, and our patient relations.
Prior to joining the Halifax Health Team, she worked in Quality Assurance and has been certified in Quality Technology by the American Society for Quality since 1987. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from University of Jacksonville and Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Central Florida.
