Daytona Beach, FL (October 27, 2023) – Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation celebrated 10 years of exceptional service on Thursday, October 19th at their inpatient facility in Daytona Beach. Over the last ten years the rehabilitation unit has served more than 7,938 patients with a higher level of rehabilitative care for patients with strokes, cancer, neurological and orthopedic diagnoses. The unit’s care plan calls for three hours of physical therapy a day. This type of rehabilitative care is used to bring patients back to their highest functioning level of activity possible.
In addition to inpatient rehabilitation, the two organizations have partnered to bring outpatient rehabilitation services through six locations and has added pediatric rehabilitation on the east and west sides of Volusia County. “The Halifax Health and Brooks Rehabilitation partnership has been extremely well trusted by the residents of Volusia County, and true to the Halifax Health mission these locations are another example of providing access to the highest level of care right here at home.” according to Jeff Feasel, President and CEO of Halifax Health. Feasel went on to thank the Team Members who provide expert and compassionate care every day. “Not only do you (Team Members) strive to provide exceptional care, but the patient satisfaction ratings have been the highest in the area for all 10 years.” Feasel added.
