Our Halifax Health — Foundation Nursing Education Scholarship was established to support and invest in the professional growth of Halifax Health Team Members who aspire to pursue or advance a career in nursing. This scholarship reflects our donor commitment to strengthening the nursing workforce and advancing excellence in patient care at Halifax Health.
One (1) scholarship in the amount of $5,000
Funds may be used for tuition, required fees, books, or related educational expenses
Scholarship funds are paid directly to the educational institution, when possible
Applicants must meet all the following requirements:
Be a current Halifax Health employee in good standing at the time of application
Have a minimum of one (1) year of continuous employment with Halifax Health
Be accepted into or currently enrolled in an accredited nursing education program, including:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
RN-to-BSN program
Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN)
Be enrolled part-time or full-time
Demonstrate a commitment to a career in nursing and continued service in healthcare
