These awards underscore Halifax Health's dedication to providing the highest quality, evidence-based care to the community.
Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach has earned the AHA's Get With The Guidelines® Stroke Gold Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite and Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll designations.
Get With The Guidelines® Stroke Gold Plus: This award recognizes the hospital's consistent excellence in stroke care for stroke treatment over a two-year period.
Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite: This designation highlights the hospital's success in reducing the time between a patient suffering a stroke arrival and the administration of clot-busting medication within 60 minutes.
Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll: This award recognizes the hospital's effective treatment of patients suffering a stroke who also have Type 2 diabetes, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.
Halifax Health - Medical Center of Port Orange have also been recognized with the Get With The Guidelines® Stroke Gold Plus and Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite awards, as well as the Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll. These accolades reflect the hospital’s commitment to adhering to the latest guidelines and delivering exceptional care to patients with stroke and diabetes.
Additionally, Halifax Health | UF Health - Medical Center of Deltona has received the Get With The Guidelines® Stroke Silver Plus award and the Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll designation.
Stroke Silver Plus: This award is given to hospitals that show consistent adherence to AHA’s stroke care guidelines over a one-year period, marking significant progress toward achieving Gold Plus status.
