Halifax Health Opens Freestanding Emergency Room on Hand Avenue in Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach, FL (November 6, 2025) – Halifax Health is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest facility, Halifax Health – Freestanding Emergency Room, Hand Avenue, located in Daytona Beach. This state-of-the-art emergency room is dedicated to delivering exceptional emergency care to the Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach communities.

As the only freestanding emergency room in Daytona Beach, the facility is staffed by board-certified physicians and designed to provide the highest level of expertise with minimal wait times. Conveniently located at the corner of Hand Avenue and Williamson Boulevard, it features 26 exam rooms, a dedicated triage area for expedited service, on-site CT and X-ray imaging, a full-service laboratory, and a welcoming pediatric and family waiting area.
