Deltona, FL (December 1, 2025) Halifax Health | UF Health – Medical Center of Deltona is proud to announce it has earned the Primary Stroke Center designation from the Joint Commission. This prestigious recognition reflects the hospital’s unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based stroke care to the communities it serves.

The Primary Stroke Center designation is awarded to hospitals that demonstrate excellence in stroke care, including adherence to the latest clinical guidelines and protocols that improve recovery and reduce disability.
