Kelly Parsons Kwiatek Named Halifax Health Senior VP, General Counsel

Kelly Parsons Kwiatek has been named senior vice president and general counsel for Halifax Health – a 678-bed, Daytona Beach-based community health system.

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (January 11, 2019) – Kelly Parsons Kwiatek has been named senior vice president and general counsel for Halifax Health – a 678-bed, Daytona Beach-based community health system.

“We are proud to have Kelly Parsons Kwiatek join our team.  Her experience and shared commitment to the communities we serve make her a tremendous asset to our organization,” says Jeff Feasel, president and chief executive officer of Halifax Health.

Kwiatek comes to Halifax Health after serving as a partner and shareholder for the past 15 years for the Daytona Beach law firm Cobb Cole.  She is board certified in labor and employment law and has experience in representing clients in all matters involving commercial litigation.

A magna cum laude graduate of Syracuse University where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theater, Kwiatek later earned a Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law.

Kwiatek currently serves as legal counsel for the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce and is chairman of the board of directors for Easterseals Northeast Central Florida.  She is also a member of the Halifax Area Civic League, Volusia County Bar Association, and many other professional and volunteer organizations in Volusia County.  She is a professional speaker and author and has received many awards, including the AV Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, Top Labor and Employment Lawyer by the Daytona Beach News-Journal, and Florida Super Lawyer’s Rising Stars 2012-2018.
