Halifax Health Completes the 2026 National Pediatric Readiness Project
Halifax Health proudly announces the successful completion of the 2026 National Pediatric Readiness Project (NPRP) assessment, further demonstrating its commitment to delivering high-quality emergency care for children across East Central Florida.
All Halifax Health emergency locations, including Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Deltona, and its freestanding emergency departments, participated in the nationwide assessment and achieved scores high above the national average. These results highlight a strong, systemwide standard of pediatric readiness and a continued focus on ensuring safe, effective care for young patients.
The NPRP assessment evaluates emergency departments across the country on key components of pediatric care, including staff training, quality improvement processes, patient safety protocols, and the availability of appropriate equipment and guidelines tailored to children.
