Halifax Health – Ophthalmology provides comprehensive care for individuals who need guidance and care for conditions and diseases of their eyes.
We offer a full range of eye care, from comprehensive eye exams to surgical procedures and treatments that help treat or cure common, rare, or complex eye conditions. Such conditions include cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, macular degeneration, and other eye diseases that occur inside the eye and are related to nerves within the eye.
We also offer vision care that includes eye vision checkups and prescriptions for glasses.
If you are over the age of 50, and this is your first time looking to meet with an ophthalmologist, we recommend that you schedule an appointment for a comprehensive eye exam to create a baseline for your eye health.
