With state-of-the-art equipment and extensive in-house capabilities, the laboratory at Halifax Health Medical Center and Halifax Health | UF Health Medical Center of Deltona has the capacity to perform a full range of diagnostic tests, providing a seamless experience from start to finish.
Hundreds of thousands of medical tests are performed each year by certified medical technologists and lab assistants who are highly skilled in such disciplines as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, histology, toxicology, immunology and blood banking, and serve under the direction of the hospitals’ pathologists.
Halifax Health Medical Center and Halifax Health | UF Health Medical Center of Deltona laboratories are committed to accuracy and efficiency in providing test results for their patients and offer both hospital inpatient and outpatient services with extended hours to fit busy schedules.
Most testing is performed daily with results available to physicians the same day.
