DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (August 17, 2017) – In June, nine Halifax Health Medical Center employees graduated from the hospital’s School of Radiologic Technology.
This year’s graduates of the nationally accredited hospital-based program include: Ceila Rosa, Jennifer Fazzie, Dawn Lyon, McKinzi Budzilek, JoAnn DeMarco, Kristen Cardinale, Theresa Marshall, Kevin Reinhardt and Paulette Tomlinson.
Halifax Health’s Radiologic Sciences program began in 1965 and has three faculty members – Dee Ann Vanlandingham, MHS, RT(R), education coordinator; Brittany Taylor, BAS, RT(R), clinical coordinator; and Carrie Regoli, BA, RT(R), clinical instructor. All courses and clinical education take place at Halifax Health. Through an affiliation agreement with Daytona State College, the students earn college credit and an associate’s degree in Radiography along with a certification from Halifax Health.
Graduates are eligible for national certification and registration in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and appropriate state licensure. Halifax Health graduates have achieved a 100 percent pass rate of the ARRT for four consecutive years.
