Dr. Yacoub earned her medical degree from Ain Shams University. She completed her Internal medicine internship and family medicine residency at West Virginia University School of Medicine. She worked as a hospitalist at Charleston Area Medical Center prior to joining Halifax Health.
Dr. Yacoub’s clinical interest is treating complicated cases with multiple co-morbidities. She enjoys coaching patients to help them develop a healthy lifestyle and reach their goal controlling their chronic medical conditions. Her practice model is to develop a personal relationship with
her patients and treat them like family.
Dr. Yacoub enjoys spending quality time with her family. She likes to travel, take walks on the beach and play basketball.
Nally Calzado, MD, was born in Dominican Republic and raised in the Bronx, NY. She received her medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine. During her medical education, she was involved in various outreach activities within her community, and was honored with induction into the Gold Foundation for Humanism in Medicine Honor Society. Dr, Calzodo completed her Family Medicine Residency at Halifax Health Medical Center. She is bilingual in Spanish and English.
During her free time Dr. Calzado enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, as well as traveling and cooking.
About Amber Bryant, APRN
Amber Bryant, APRN is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who earned her master’s degree in nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia. She has been a member of the Halifax Health team since 2014 in various roles of nursing, to include emergency department, pediatric intensive care unit and education department as an instructor for various AHA courses.
Amber is a graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School as well as an Operation Iraqi Freedom, Army veteran. She served in the U.S. Army as a medic. After leaving the army she pursued a career as a paramedic and later becoming a nurse. Her vast experiences have prepared her for her current role as a primary care provider.
She cares for patients 10 years and older. As a nurse practitioner, Amber takes pride in providing individualized, high quality care to each patient she serves. She promotes wellness and a happy, healthy lifestyle for each of her patients. She is the mother of two wonderful children. As a family they enjoy the beach, festivals and spending time with their large extended family.
