As an alternative to oral treatment, patients sometimes require infusion therapy that delivers medication and fluid intravenously though the bloodstream. Intravenous therapy may be used for fluid volume replacement, to correct electrolyte imbalances, or to deliver medications. While this treatment method has traditionally been administered in an inpatient setting, we offer many types of infusion therapy as an outpatient service, provided by trained nurses.
